Exciting innovation happening in WA.

WA's Innovator of the Year Awards marked their 20th anniversary this year, naming 23 finalists across six categories.

In Advanced Manufacturing, Alba Edible Oils made the cut for their edible oil refining work, alongside Element Zero (low-temperature mineral processing), SpiroPak and Blakemiere Engineering.

WA's Science and Innovation Minister Stephen Dawson summed it up simply: "WA innovation has never been stronger."

It's a good reminder that innovation in our industry doesn't only show up in Melbourne or Sydney, some of the most interesting technical work in food and ingredients right now is happening across Australia.
